Bangkok is a great city, a metropolitan with modern infrastructure as well as welcoming population and above all a warm weather and a cool environment for people who are working in this region. Visitors will feel at home, it is a city that accommodates people from diverse cultures.

Expatriates fall in love with Bangkok, right from the food to the culture, there is a lot to learn and enjoy. If you like local food, there is a lot to sample, for those who would love to eat foreign delicacies, there are several hotels and restaurants serving variety of foreign dishes, ranging from American, Italian, French, Chinese, Indian and Japanese delicacies among others. Bangkok is one of the only cities in the world where you would see people earning $300 per month living life well enough (as compared to other countries) and people earning $30,000 per month living life very well (rich people can actually live life well everywhere). But you can’t have that in cities in Japan, USA, UK, Europe etc.

When it comes to entertainment, no other city in this side of the world rivals Bangkok, right from cultural performances to contemporary entertainment, expatriates have a wide variety of entertainment to sample. For those who have moved in with their families, there are plenty of entertainment spots which offer family entertainment too because is not just about nightlife. There are many places for kids and family to enjoy and have a nice family day.

Not only Bangkok has conventional sports like football, tennis or swimming but also adventure sports. Being a multi-cultural city, Bangkok has adventure sports like biking, go karting, flowriding, wildlife and adventure parks. A little further away from Bangkok there are cities like Hua-hin, Chonburi, Pattaya where you could try watersports, zip lining, go karting too.
