Patna – Bihar’s Pride And Once A Fast Emerging Major City

Capital to the state of Bihar, Patna is the second largest city in Eastern India. Emerging as one of the fastest growing city in the country, this place is blooming with shopping malls, theatres and various other real estate establishments. Patna is also the fifth fastest growing city in India and a major agricultural hub for India and a trade centre for eastern India. The city is picking up pace rapidly and once a quiet place is quickly becoming a busy lively city which is growing to be a major place of interest for tourists.

Patna is growing in every field, be it sports, media, entertainment, education and is a constant contributor to India’s agricultural sector. And with the blooming of all these sectors gives rise to the tourism department of the city. The best way to get into the city is via train. Litti Chokha, a local speciality is a combination whose tastes may differ from person to person depending on what spices they choose to use in their filling is a two part dish consisting of a stuffed ball-shaped item made of wheat and the other part consists of a roasted and smashed tomato or eggplant base. Patna also has its unique twist to the normal chaat found around in Delhi and Mumbai. The twist here is the tang you get from the tamarind which hits your palate in a different way as opposed to the normal ‘sweet chutney’. There is also a large array of unique sweets you could choose from.

Patna is still in the constant phase of development and it is not slowing down a notch. A place which is starting to see its fair share of curious tourists and visitors, this city can proudly say it has built itself up from the ground. Say you searched for train number 13237 live running status via your laptop or mobile app, you could easily see which station the train is and which station it last left and if there are any delays along the way.
