Van Vicker
Actor Van Vicker will today wrap up the shoot of his upcoming movie with the working title ‘Distance’.
He started shooting a couple of weeks ago at locations in Aburi, Koforidua and Accra; but he would bring everything to a close today, his close aide told US would subsequently edit it before releasing it sometime this year.
The movie, which is being produced and directed by Van under his Sky Orange production, features some of the crème de la crème actors from Ghana and Nigeria.
Last month, Van confirmed he was bringing Nigerian actress Stella Damasus to be part of the shoot in Ghana.
But reports said she did not show up. She was however replaced with another popular Nigerian actress whose name is yet to be made public.
The movie’s Ghanaian cast includes Kofi Adjorlolo and Van.
‘Distance’ will be the third movie from Van’s Sky Orange production, after ‘Friday Night’ and ‘Raj’.
Van told US arlier on he would be shooting another movie in November and hopefully more next year.
“I want to debunk the whole idea that I don’t work in Ghana,” he added.
The synopsis of the new movie would be made public soon but Van had emphasized the story was very intriguing.
Van has not only become a household name but one of Ghana’s most-talked-about male movie stars whose daring approach to acting helped the country’s movie industry from its slumber.
