Select The Chalet That Is Right For You

If you have been thinking about taking a vacation in the Swiss Alps, there are many things that you need to consider. A trip to the Swiss Alps is sure to be unforgettable and having everything just right assures a most pleasant stay. Picking the right chalet for your travel needs is key.

Things to Consider

Swiss chalets are nothing like your lake front cottage. Most chalets are expansive and designed to sleep eight or more people at a time. This is perfect for large families, corporate retreats or stag and hen parties. Catered chalets are outfitted with everything your party needs to stay comfortable and have fun while staying in the Swiss Alps. Self-catered chalets are just as breathtaking, but visitors must take care of the fine details themselves. In some cases, you might find studio chalets, but these are few and far between. Studio chalets are still pretty big but are designed to sleep two people instead of ten or more. Studio chalets are perfect for a honeymoon or romantic getaway for two.

Picking a Chalet

Once you know what kind of chalet suits your travel needs best, you can decide on the chalet you want to stay at. Alpine Infusion’s collection of chalets is diverse with locations in Meribel and Courchevel. They are close to top skiing destinations in the Three Valleys area. Brilliantly appointed chalets have up to four floors, so you will never feel cramped in. In chalet pools and saunas give you the privacy to start, or end, your day with a relaxing swim or sauna session. Guests that want to pamper themselves might also enjoy getting a massage in the private massage room located next to the pool.

Planning Your Stay

Now that you have selected the chalet that is right for you, it is time to start planning your stay. In order to do so, you will need to decide when you are available to travel. Most chalets in the region need a minimum stay of seven days. If travelling with a group, you will need to coordinate a time that everyone can get away. After confirming that everyone in your group is free to travel at the same time, you will need to make a reservation to secure your desired chalet for your travels. It’s all downhill from here! When travelling to the Swiss Alps, you will want to be sure that you pack plenty of clothes, especially if you are planning on being outside a lot. Layers are always recommended to help with wicking and staying warm. Even though it’s cold outside, participating in winter activities like skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing can raise your body temperature quickly! Don’t forget your gloves. Your hands and other extremities could get frostbit if they are not protected. If you have always dreamed of staying in the Swiss Alps, now is a great time to start planning your getaway!
